Co-op Student - Cybersecurity Governance and Performance - Fall September 2025

Annual salary: 1,792.24 - $2,257.45 biweekly

The location for this position will be in Downtown Vancouver, BC.
- We are looking for team-oriented, 3rd or 4th year Co-op students who demonstrates strong communications,
interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Working with Cybersecurity Governance and Performance team may include the following tasks and learning
opportunities:
- Create, review, and update Cybersecurity awareness program materials,
- Plan, develop, and run cybersecurity awareness campaigns and events,
- Review and develop cybersecurity policies and standards with coverage of all cybersecurity domains,
- Follow process for handling policy exemptions and exceptions,
- Gather, review and analyze information with respect to cybersecurity performance metrics, and prepare documents for
reporting them,
- Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders in support of all programs that this team is responsible for,
- Review and update the existing cybersecurity documentation,
- Perform other cybersecurity tasks assigned by department or team.
- The student will learn about within the utility industry and be given the opportunity to develop his/her communication skills,
software skills and professional judgement.
What you bring
- To qualify as a candidate, individual's must be enrolled and yet to graduate from a recognized post-secondary institution in
Canada.
- 3rd of 4th year students studying computer science; with previous work experience are preferred.
- Good development and programming experience (i.e. Python, Java, regex. SQL)
