Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday
Duration of Contract: 4-month fixed term contract (September to December 2025)
Anticipated Start Date: September 2, 2025
Hourly Rate Range: $20 - $25/hour
What You'll Be Doing:
General IT Support Responsibilities
- Assist with troubleshooting hardware and software issues (printers, laptops, peripherals, etc.)
- Set up and configure new user accounts, devices, and software
- Log, track, and resolve support tickets/emails
- Support remote users in troubleshooting software issues
- Document common support procedures and technical issues
Software/Development Tasks
- Help maintain and improve internal server applications or scripts
- Participate in IT project team meetings
Network/Infrastructure Tasks
- Assist in monitoring network performance and resolving basic connectivity issues
- Support in configuring routers, switches, or VPN access under supervision
- Help manage monitor server health
- Document IT assets
Cybersecurity Support
- Assist in security audits and monitoring (e.g., reviewing logs, checking for anomalies)
- Help enforce access control and password policies
Other Duties:
What We're Looking For:
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Programming languages (i.e., Python, JavaScript, C++).
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Bi, PowerApps, Power Automate, etc. or interest in learning).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to coordinate with and work well with cross functional teams.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Dessert Manufacturing Facility or Bakery experience.
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or equivalent certification.
