Under the authority of the Chief Information Officer, you will act as an expert advisor on the various aspects of security, at the local and regional level.
More Specifically, You Will Need To
- Coordinate and contribute to the development, revision and implementation of recommendations on security technology directions;
- Analyze events that may compromise the security of infrastructure and information systems;
- Periodically assess risks and threats and processes in place to secure infrastructure and systems;
- Support regional and local teams to monitor best practices and governance of information security;
- Assists and participates closely with the IT Coordinator in the monitoring of various ongoing projects or planning to ensure security compliance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. A combination of relevant training and experience could be considered;
2-4 years of experience in the health care system considered an asset
IT security certification such as SSCP, Security +, CISSP, CEH or any other recognized certification; Very good networking skills;
Good knowledge of the RITM;
Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365;
Knowledge of telecommunications (satellite communications), considered an asset;
Commitment to implementing solutions that meet safety principles;
Knowledge of the Windows environment and its components;
Excellent command of English and French. Inuktitut is an asset;
With a sense of autonomy, customer service, team spirit and a sense of urgency.
Be available to work evenings and weekends on a schedule to be determined;
Be available to travel throughout the territory of Nunavik.
Candidates who are beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement shall receive priority.
Conditions And Benefits
Permanent full-time position;
Based in Kuujjuaq or working from home with travel to the region;
Salary according to rules issued by the MSSS ($26.66/h to $45.70/h).
Northern benefits: retention premium ($6,000/year), isolation premium ($10,627/year), cost-of-living allowance ($3,085/year) and, if hired more than 50 km from Kuujjuaq, subsidized housing provided, moving and storage expenses reimbursed, annual personal trips from Kuujjuaq to point of hiring provided, etc.
