Reporting to the Manager of Security Operations, the Security Operations Analyst will join our growing SOC team. We are looking for people capable of working in an unstructured environment, can help create documentation, aid in developing standards and procedures, and provide mission critical security vigilance.

Our new Information Security Analyst will:
Operate Cybersecurity tools and controls. You will work with cross-functional internal stakeholders to analyze, document, communicate, and operate Cybersecurity tools and technologies.
Investigate security events and alerts. You will triage, investigate, and monitor security events and logs. Working closely with your global peers to identify threats, contain and respond to security events and alerts.
Be a Cybersecurity champion. You will be available for internal users and other IT functions as a Cybersecurity point of contact. Work closely with end users to resolve issues and answer questions. You will troubleshoot issues with our Cybersecurity tools and work closely with either our technical SMEs, or software vendors. You will engage with the rest of the Information Security team regarding incident responses, ongoing investigations, malicious email analysis, security breaches, malicious software infections, and case management with use of ServiceNow.

You have at least one year of hands-on Information Security operations experience, or equivalent academic background, with familiarity with technologies like end-point protection, networking security, web security, email security, vulnerability management and encryption.
Ideal Interpersonal skills:
Problem-solving: Conduct investigations by following logical troubleshooting steps is at the forefront of any SOC analyst. Not accepting the status-quo by asking the whys, finding clues, figure out the how’s, and work with others to stop similar events.
Attention to detail.
Willingness to collaborate, work as a team and when necessary, take lead.
Good communication skills and an active listener.
Humility and a good sense of humor.
Independent worker.
Ideal technical skills:
Hands on experience with Antiviral solutions like CrowdStrike and McAfee.
Made use of Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
Experience running queries and investigations with a SIEM solution.
Triage experience with email management services like Mimecast, Proofpoint, Barracuda, etc.
Experience troubleshooting cloud native SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) solutions like Zscaler, Palo Alto, Netskope, etc.
Working towards or already have:
Security certification such as SSCP, CISM, CISSP, SANS, or GIAC.
