Job Description
As the Security Specialist in the Security Infrastructure team, you will be joining Ubisoft IT and more specifically the Security and Risk Management team (SRM). Your functions will be to manage, administer, and maintain Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. You’ll also be able to participate actively on other security tooling and automation within the Security Operations Center (SOC).
Responsibilities
- Administer Tools, Software and Systems across a complex infrastructure, supporting many layers;
- Deploy Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), ensure compliance and maintain solutions as well as develop reports to measure the coverage and effectiveness of solution;
- Assist adjacent teams and ensure that security related solutions are well managed on Software as a service (SaaS), private & public cloud as well as virtual machines;
- Develop a set of security standards and requirements for future tool procurement as well as be involved in procurement processes and Proofs of concept (POCS);
- Monitor system events to ensure system health and maximum system accessibility and quality of service;
- Deploy infrastructure in a resilient manner and hardened against cyber-attacks or outages, arrange backups, system recovery and execution of a business recovery plans; maintain agreed upon SLAs and support;
- Leverage solutions such as Hashicorp Vault to manage passwords;
- Monitor employee utilization rate of each tool and report to management for optimization opportunities;
- Partake in the creation of a full set of security automation.
Qualifications
- Experience in Cyber Security and/or Systems Administration Roles;
- Experience Administering a Security information and event management (SIEM) & Logging Pipeline;
- Experience Administering and operating one or more enterprise security products;
- Enterprise Scale Anti-Virus, EDR, XDR (Crowdstrike or Microsoft Preferred);
- Experience Developing Custom Software for Automation Use Cases;
- Knowledge of cloud services administration is considered a core asset.
