Position Summary
As a member of PointClickCare’s Corporate Strategy team, you will work on highly visible initiatives to help propel the company through its next phase of growth. You will lead cross-functional projects that drive new areas of business and/or operational excellence. The work mirrors projects found at top strategy consulting firms, but with the added benefit of being part of the organization. You have the opportunity to contribute to a project’s success over time, unlike outside consultants. Moreover, you will have significant exposure to senior leaders across the company, which provides an enhanced level of professional development.
In this role, you will identify, evaluate, and execute cross-functional projects. You will need to be independent in your work, driving project plans, data-driven analyses and strategy development. You will help define market maps for our industry and identify trends that require PointClickCare attention. The highest-priority growth initiatives will be on your to-do list, requiring strong business unit partnerships for effective evaluations and launches. Advanced skills in synthesizing and presenting data is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Help formulate strategy at the corporate and individual business unit level
- Manage strategic initiatives end-to-end, presenting business cases with clear recommendations
- Conduct and/or lead key qualitative (primary research, synthesis of secondary data sources) and quantitative analysis in support of deliverables
- Plan and lead secondary market and competitive research to support strategic initiatives and other deliverables
- Create market maps for our industry to identify key trends that require PointClickCare attention
- Author and deliver high-impact presentations and plans
- Facilitate joint problem-solving with mid-level and senior-level business partners
- Work closely with cross-functional groups to implement recommendations
Required Experience
- Experience at a strategy consulting firm, investment bank and/or corporate strategy team
- MBA or quantitative degree preferred
- Demonstrated career progression with increasing responsibility over time
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong communications (written/verbal), presentation and facilitation skills
- Passion for excellence, attention to detail and the desire to have a significant impact on the business
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with a demonstrated ability to synthesize multiple sources of information
- Experience contributing to complex, multi-faceted projects
