Manager-Digital Operations
Leads a team of marketing operations professionals and works alongside content, brand, and demand generation to support overall website enhancements and go-to-market efforts. Translates business pain points into operational objectives that can be addressed with digital strategies. Understands, and enhances the experience for the customer to ensure that the brand experience is delivered appropriately using effective creative, content delivery model and with the correct metrics. Prepares relevant budgets and monitors assigned expenses.

Responsibilities
- Executes daily operational tasks such as order flow monitoring and coordinates with various teams to triage issues, raise support tickets where needed, analyze root cause, and assist in efficient resolution of all production process issues. Track and manage issues through to resolution, ensuring that resolutions are subject to appropriate production-level quality assurance tests and that key findings are reported on and applied.
- Manages and implements solutions and platforms related to Marketing Technology for Panasonic Canada including Web CMS, Company Intranet, Marketing API & Integrations and Cross-Platform Frontend Experiences.
- Supports the execution of B2B digital strategy and production, including web tagging and analytics. Manages technical requirements from ideation and gathering for project and campaign execution, planning agile timelines for rollout.
- Uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to analyze and reviews digital metrics to improve martech stack performance, site organics brand awareness and demand generation.
- Oversees B2B agency partner and vendor relationships in their fulfillment of development and execution tasks, monitoring retainer usage and contract efficiency. Resolves issues and communicates findings to stakeholders.
- Manages, mentors, attracts, and retains team of marketing technologists. Identifies, recruits, coaches, and develops current and new team members. Provides day to day leadership, and counseling to staff as to the execution of programs, plans, and objectives. Ensures staff development is consistent with corporate objectives.
- Ensures adherence to Corporate Employment Equity objectives through hiring and promotion practices. Sets priorities, and re-assigns duties as required.
- Keeps up to date on marketing technologies. Provides subject matter expertise including strategy, architecture, implementation/operations to peers and management. Recommends changes or upgrades to technology, implements and migrates data as required.
- Works closely with internal stakeholders to coordinate content strategies, priorities, and inter-dependent initiatives. Collaborates with the other technology and business groups, e.g., North American Digital Centre of Excellence (web, analytics, content) IT, regulatory & compliance teams. Oversees testing and compliance with brand, corporate policies, and government regulations pertaining to web and digital marketing. Works with stakeholders to create required documentation for compliance.
- Develops, plans, implements, and participates in all other initiatives as required by the Vice President, PNA, or Executive Committee.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- University or College degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce, or Digital Marketing, with 7 to 10 years related digital operations and management experience.
- Expertise in managing and trouble-shooting content management systems (e.g.; Drupal). Knowledge of all facets of digital marketing optimization including UX, CX, web, lead to revenue management.
- Strong knowledge of complex martech stacks (e.g., DAM, CRM, CDP, MAP).
- Experience with one or more of the following is preferred: digital marketing (e.g., web content management, rich internet applications), Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, technology/software/SaaS concepts, custom software development processes and methodologies (including managing agile projects and sprints), technology project management and governance.
- Familiarity with current privacy and compliance requirements related to consumer/personal data (e.g., CASL, GDPR).
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Effective time management and customer expectations management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
