Who are you?
The Program Director is a key senior leadership role within the Global AI platform and application management team; working closely with the head of the department you will be responsible for managing a team of project managers, product owners, scrum masters and business analysts responsible for a portfolio of services and development capabilities. You will provide progress to plan for the management of programs, products and underlying projects, maintaining visibility of the major initiatives efficiently. You will support the different sub verticals in their resource and budget management (software engineering, Data DevOps, ML Ops engineering, service management ). You will coordinate with the central data strategy team and other data verticals in providing updates and collaborating to planning. This role needs to have the strong ability to lead an agile transformation, influencing teams to transform their ways of working, and establishing a step-by-step plan to build new capabilities across teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Ability to manage the financial health of a +1020M portfolio, including the business value derived from investments through the delivery of AI products, data platforms, service delivery and people transformation.
- Support establishment of standards, processes and procedures, along with best practices to establish PMO capabilities across the global Data Organization
- Assist VPs and program leaders in managing strategic programs
- Drive the definition of your team’s roadmap – seeing that it is well defined, budgeted, resourced, and aligned with the evolving priorities of the organization, connecting the dots between various projects, programs and people at Sanofi
- Manage the run business operations for the AI platform and Application team Data Organization’s portfolio, including integration with Finance, Procurement and other corporate function.
- Guarantees final deliveries and consistency of the program solutions, including its compliance with applicable quality, regulatory (Data Privacy, GxP, SOX, etc.) and cybersecurity requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in business, engineering or computer science
- PMP or similar project management certification preferred. Agile and Scrum certifications would be preferred.
- Demonstrated strategy-to-implementation consulting experience across digital and the establishment of PMO functions
- Demonstrated use of technologies to manage portfolios, facilitate agreement and manage products (e.g. JIRA)
- Experience in coaching and leading agile transformations, and building a team and culture around agile practices
- Demonstrated experience in managing large, multi-million dollar transformations, establishing the vision for major programs
- Experience leading cross-functional stakeholders to execute high-impact projects
Desired Qualifications
- Technical analytics and data skills (e.g. PowerBI experience)
- Comfortable in using PPM tools such as JIRA, APM service now
- Bias for action, with excellent problem-solving skills, analytical and strategic capabilities, results-driven
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in autonomy with limited guidelines in a
- complex stakeholder environment
