Senior Human Resources Manager
ProResp Corporate Office – London, ON
Provides primary source of expertise and guidance to management and staff in multiple locations throughout Ontario. HR team includes local and corporate professionals. Engages in program development, integrations, creative recommendations and supports business continuity and growth initiatives. Expectations of the role include:
In partnership with the Director of HR & Privacy, and the Manager, Health & Safety:
- Creative in development and implementation of programs and solutions to enhance people strategies
- Participate in leadership strategy with focus on the provision of a positive workforce culture enabling business success
- Direct responsibility for HR functional area(s); active within HR team to guide and mentor development of people and programs
- Guide management and staff; active involvement with building performance management capabilities; facilitation of effective team dynamics
- Participate in analysis of KPI’s and champions action plans
- Interested in pursuit of next level of HR leadership
Preferred qualifications:
- A seasoned professional in a broad variety of human resources functions and dynamic environments; healthcare experience or proven flexibility to adapt to new business conditions considered an asset
- Undergraduate Degree and/or postsecondary education in Human Resources, or equivalent experience
- CHRP required; CHRL or greater designation preferred, or working towards attainment
- Strong current knowledge of applicable legislation pertaining to the field of HR for Ontario at minimum (knowledge or experience with other Provincial regulations considered an asset)
Hours of work : Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm. Some flexibility in hours required
Other stuff to know:
- Ability for occasional travel is required usually with flexibility to set travel schedule independently
- Must hold a valid Ontario driver’s license (minimum of 3 years full privilege) in good standing.
