Position: Information Analyst (Security)
Term: 6-month contract
Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid Remote
Responsibilities:
- Research sensitive intelligence information about companies and individuals from internal and external databases for investigations
- Analyze, input and communicate the results of the research to internal and external regulatory clients, managing such information in accordance with strict confidentiality and use requirements
- Monitor and manage internal processes and systems to receive, and respond to, requests for intelligence information from clients in a timely manner
- Develop, consider and implement diverse research and database management strategies and devise creative solutions to challenging problems
- Respond clearly and concisely to a wide variety of requests for information and troubleshoot effectively
Requirements:
- 4 years’ related experience in conducting research and analysis obtained through experiences in the financial services, legal, regulatory or law enforcement field
- Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving skills, with a deep focus on attention to detail and demonstrated ability in synthesizing a multitude of detail from various sources
- Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, high-volume and dynamic environment as well as deal with sensitive and confidential information in a discreet and professional manner
- Degree or diploma, preferably with a focus in Law, Finance and/or Business, or equivalent experience
- Experience using RCMP Canadian Police Information Centre Systems would be considered a strong asset
- Experience with other databases such as Teranet, Geowarehouse, Cyberbahn/Ecore, PPSA, Bankruptcy Canada, NRD, CRD, etc., is considered an asset
