Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Cyber Security Engineer located in Mississauga, ON. The Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the security of applications, networks, and information systems. Day-to-day tasks include conducting vulnerability assessments, implementing security measures, monitoring security networks, and responding to security incidents. They will work closely with the IT department to identify potential threats and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
Qualifications
Knowledge and experience in Application Security and Vulnerability Assessment
Proficiency in Cybersecurity and Information Security
Expertise in Network Security
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with security tools and technologies is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH) are a benefit
