YOUR ROLE

We are currently recruiting for a Cybersecurity Engineer with hands on experience in technology and cybersecurity controls to join our team. We are looking for someone passionate about technology, who enjoys complex challenges, and is committed to driving innovation in the field of Cybersecurity. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and a passion for staying ahead of emerging threats. The ideal candidate will be responsible to help implement, support and maintain security measures to protect our systems and data.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and operate security solutions designed to protect the organization from cyber threats and attacks
  • Lead and deploy new solutions and technologies to improve the overall security posture
  • Act as a L3 escalation point in responding to security incidents
  • Optimize security solutions to ensure they are operating effectively and efficiently
  • Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, protocols, and procedures
  • Monitor and analyze network traffic for potential security breaches
  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing with third party partners
  • Respond to and investigate security incidents and breaches
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all systems and processes
  • Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology

DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

  • B.S. or M.S. in Information Security, Computer Science, or equivalent experiences
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles
  • 1-3 years of professional working experience in a similar role
  • At least 1-2 years of experience supporting a secure infrastructure in a multi-cloud environment
  • Strong knowledge of security concepts and tools around identity & Authentication, Data Security, System Security, Network security, and Application Security
  • Knowledge of security logging, monitoring and incident response
  • Experience in a position requiring excellent understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, NIST and ISO 27001)
  • Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., VPN, NDR, EDR, SIEM, Security Awareness Training)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact at all levels and be effective as part of a broader team
