Your main role is to support the evolution of our Infrastructure security architecture plan, by focusing on evaluating, business and technical requirements, new and emerging security centric technologies and products. You’ll be involved in technical discussions and decisions with senior security architects and asset owners. An agile and incremental approach is essential to deliver flawlessly this security environment.
Candidates must be self motivated, open minded and able to work on various tasks dynamically as required. The successful candidate will partner closely with other security architects and specialist internally.
Your responsibilities:
• Work with Senior Security Architects to perform technical and business level analysis of technology in multiple areas of security, focusing on areas of Data Loss Prevention, CASB, ZTNA, Network Malware inspection and other areas as required.
• Support the selection of vendors to shortlist, contribute to test cases to be evaluated, perform and execute test cases, based on discussions with Architects
• Lead and support targeted POCs to support business cases
• Prepare detailed reports and test results from various security technologies.
• Build financial/costing estimates as well as evaluate the maturity of the field to support the technology roadmap.
• Prepare tentative deployment plans, timelines to support future/planned projects

1. CASB
2. Office 365 / WebEx Data Loss prevention
3. Network Malware inspection / Sandboxing
4. SASE / ZTNA
Essential skills:
• 8+ years of IT security experience, including 2+ years of experience supporting the selection of new technologies in Security or related areas
• Demonstrated experience with a wide variety of security technologies in multiple areas of inline defenses, including DLP, CASB, SASE, SWG Proxy, SSL decryption etc.
• Demonstrated experience in building Business case and financial evaluation, as well as presenting findings to leadership
• Experience with networking and various network security controls
• A strong network background is considered an asset
• High tolerance to ambiguity and ability to adapt in a fast-evolving environment
• Ability to manage time and priorities across multiple projects and duties
• Bilingual (French and English) an asset
