Core responsibilities:
Praetorian is seeking a Sales Development Representative to find and screen potential customers who can benefit from Praetorian’s Consulting solutions and Chariot Offensive Security managed service offering. As the first line of communication with prospects, ideal SDRs have a strong understanding of our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), excel at researching leads, and are able to develop—and execute against—creative approaches to engaging prospective clients.
To be effective, the Sales Development Representative should be a quick learner with strong communication skills and the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Specifically, the Sales Development Representative will hold the following core responsibilities:
- Represent our company’s products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding of the cybersecurity domain and how our solutions meet the needs of our clientele
- Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential sales outlets
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps
- Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook
- Achieve assigned monthly meeting quota and work collaboratively with field sales organization
Desired qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or at least two (2) years of relevant work experience
- Strong communication skills via phone and email
- Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
- Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
Additional +1 qualifications:
- Experience working closely with field sales representatives and marketing teams
- Strong organizational skills and track record of success working in high-paced and analytical organizations

- Utilize Salesforce.com, Outreach.io, and lead database tools to generate new sales opportunities
- Identify prospect’s needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

If performed in Colorado, this position's targeted OTE is $75,000. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
