Job Description:
- Experience: 12 + Years in Network Security, Routing & Switching, Wireless LAN Technology
- Should be a Certified Network Security Professional with CCNA and CCNP certified (in depth knowledge of
- Routing & Switching), Wireless LAN technology with minimum 7+ years of work experience.
- Thorough Knowledge on VLAN, VPN, IP Sec tunnel configurations with troubleshooting skill.
- Thorough Knowledge on SDWAN (Silverpeak / Meraki) configurations with troubleshooting skill.
- Wide practical knowledge on Major Network Security Platforms, LAN / WAN (routing protocols – OSPF,
- BGP, EiGRP) and Wireless Devices. (Majorly on Cisco products)
- Troubleshooting skill on the above-mentioned technology / products is a must.
- Good communication skill & email writing efficiency.
- ITIL Process understanding, Service Now Ticketing tool.
- Should be able to work under job pressure & prioritize the Incidents / Service Tasks depend on the severity.
- Network Security Architectural knowledge with ability to design based on customer requirement.
- Need to coordinate with OEM / Carriers / HCL internal L2/L3 team for any technical escalations for the call closure as per the agreed SLA with customer.
- Risk assessment before any Change Implementation and documentation of Change Task to be discussed in CAB meetings.
- Proof of Concept for new network devices in coordination with customer network team. Should be able to recommend various options of Network Security.
- Should be able to make the Network Security documents / diagrams as per customer requirement.
- Should be able to technically challenge the OEM / Carriers related to Network Security / Vulnerability in the customer network.
- Should be able to propose new Innovations or Service Improve Plan on existing Network Infrastructure to enhance performance.
- Should be able to work on Network Security Project Related activities based on the Client Requirement and need to provide the technical solution.
- Should work on shifts and On Call support on weekends.
