How You’ll Add Value
The Software Architect will be responsible for analyzing requirements provided by Business Analysts and documenting a design to fulfil the customers’ requirements. The design doc will then be used by the development team, the QA team, and the support team. In addition, the document will also be reviewed by the customer before the solution is built.
The Software Architect will be a senior technical position and understand best design practices so that these can be adhered to throughout the design. The design will include all aspects of the build including workflows, integrations, API’s, reporting and any additional requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Work with Business Analysts to provide guidance during requirements gathering
- Interpret and understand business requirements
- Produce design documentation
- Work with the development team to answer and questions and provide guidance
- Review delivered solution is delivered as designed
- Perform a code review of delivered solution
What You Will Bring
- Associate degree in Information Systems or related area, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years working in an architect role
- Knowledge of Ruby scripting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Great attention to detail and results driven approach
- Strong analytical ability to solve complex technical issues
- Highly self-motivated, able to multi-task
- Ability to contribute to a cross-functional team environment
- Understanding of application architecture
- Understanding of coding best practices
