WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a proactive account manager with SaaS experience to join our growing client retention team. This is a commercially focused role so will suit someone with experience of renewing, cross selling and upselling clients within a software business.
This is a SaaS account management position and to be successful in the role you must love technology and be motivated and enthused by our product. We are ideally looking for someone based on the East Coast of Canada or the US. This is a remote position but could involve travel and client meetings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage and build relationships with all current customers in the defined portfolio:
- Responding to requests about our technology and security
- Working with clients to apply Fliplet to their business
- Listening to their needs and wants
- Supporting clients to achieve their goals
- Sharing new features and case studies
- Measuring and reporting on the value delivered
- Influence future lifetime value through higher product adoption, customer satisfaction and strategic partnership with clients.
- Identify opportunities to grow accounts by connecting with and referring clients to the company and each other.
- Identify and develop a pipeline of opportunities with existing clients in an agreed portfolio, to include additional services and upgrades to the current service plans
- Prepare documentation, proposals, statements of Work and app plans for customers
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, feedback to product and marketing to contribute to the success of growth and retention in general
- Produce an annual territory plan and demonstrate what activities are going to ensure you deliver or exceed your OKRs
- Front foot communication with clients and/or procurement
- Hitting growth targets and maintaining CRM
- Reach your financial targets and exceed them
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES & EXPERIENCE
Experience
- 3+ years Account management experience within a SaaS business
- Commercially focused: Track record of over achieving financial targets, either within a New Business or Account management capacity
- Previous experience with Enterprise businesses and demonstrable history of a consultative approach to account management
- Experience dealing with multiple stakeholders and building out a network within a client base
- Experience with complex or multi-faceted software products is preferable
- Relevant industry experience (SaaS, Legal, Professional Services, Healthcare, Technology and Telecoms) is desirable but not essential.
- Experience conducting strategic account reviews
