THE ROLE
The IT Security Analyst will manage the day-to-day security of systems and data at Removery and execute on Removery InfoSec Policies and Procedures. Removery takes security very seriously and this is a critical role to ensure the confidentiality of our company's sensitive information. This is a global-role, and the IT Security Analyst will be the go-to for all things IT Security. The role will get to work on some great projects and with some great tech.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create, and maintain the enterprise’s security awareness training program.
- Create and maintain the enterprise’s security documents (policies, standards, baselines, guidelines, and procedures).
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the IT security industry including awareness of new or revised security solutions, improved security processes, and the development of new attacks and threat vectors.
- Be responsible for the deployment, integration, and initial configuration of new security solutions and of any improvements to existing security solutions in accordance with industry best practices.
- Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data residing on or transmitted through all Removery systems including enterprise workstations, servers, cloud systems databases and other data repositories.
- Supervise the execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits.
- Responsible for patching of all systems, including networks, desktops, iPads etc.
- Responsible for systems monitoring of logs through a SIEM and responding to incidents within the Removery SLA.
- Engage in ongoing communications with peers in the IT and Operations groups as well as the various business groups to ensure enterprise-wide understanding of security goals, solicit feedback, and foster co-operation.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Sr. Director, IT Infrastructure.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years cyber security experience.
- Experience in designing and delivering employee security awareness training.
- Solid grasp of IP, TCP/IP, and networking technologies.
- Familiarity with Windows and MacOS operating systems and OS hardening.
- Experience in vulnerability management and remediation.
- Experience in detection response (SIEM) and incident response procedures.
- Experience with Azure and Office365.
- Data backup and recovery.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science
- Security Certification (CISSP, CISM, etc.,)
- Knowledge of security & compliance frameworks such as PCI, HIPAA & NIST
