Job Title: Cybersecurity Manager
Work Location: Mississauga, ON
Duration: Direct hire, full-time role with client
Education/Experience Required: 5+ years of proven experience in a Cybersecurity role, preferably within a SOC2 audited environment.
The Manager of Cybersecurity is accountable for our client's Corporate Cybersecurity. As a recognized Security leader, the Manager of Cybersecurity will take on business responsibilities for the company's Cybersecurity risk profile. They will oversee the continuous improvement and management of the company's Cybersecurity practices, processes, and the corresponding metrics, KPI's, reports and certifications. The Manager of Cybersecurity will instill a sense of control, confidence, and customer service in managing and maturing the organization's Cybersecurity needs.
Job Description & Responsibilities :
- Provide subject matter expertise on internal and external Cybersecurity related needs and trends
- Lead the adoption of a Zero Trust Security model across Technology
- Mature security operations through designing and implementing new approaches, technologies, and compliance frameworks such as SOC2 to govern Stealth's cloud and network security footprint
- Drive the continued improvement of Cybersecurity resulting in SOC2 compliance
- Monitor Cybersecurity profile and provide risk-lowering assessments and recommendations
- Build relationships and engage with related vendors and their associated services
- Proactively audit Cybersecurity related controls, policies to prioritize and implement improvements
- Provide oversight and leadership towards customer related Cybersecurity enquires and audits
- Manage and Lead Cybersecurity related incidents and postmortems
- Implement cloud security improvements to both public, and hybrid cloud services.
Skills & Qualifications :
- BS/BEng or equivalent
- Post graduate degree/diploma desired in a related field, Information Technology Management
- At least 5+ years working experience in Cybersecurity preferably in a SOC2 audited environment
- CISSP, CompTIA Security+ or equivalent
- Recognized for building and delivering best in class Zero Trust Cybersecurity models and disciplines
- Experience using SIEM or SIM products such as Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel
- Demonstrated leadership skills with strong decision-making capability and judgment
- Demonstrated analytical ability with a focus on detail and accuracy
- Experience in Internet of Things related hardening and associated security an asset
