6 month hybrid 2 days per week in office downtown Toronto
Out client is searching for a Cloud Strategist for the following:
Must haves:
5+ years' experience with Cloud infrastructure skillset (bonus: ZScaler or CyberSecurity infrastructure) 5+ years' experience supporting crafting of cloud strategies using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS with the ability to analyze and synthesize analysis of alternatives Reviewing vendor cloud contracts, support model and service-level agreements
5+ years' experience working as a Cloud SME in the implementation of large, medium, and small cloud projects
5+ years' experience providing hands-on support of mission areas in the rationalization and cloud readiness assessment of existing applications
Responsibilities
- Plan any necessary changes for cloud migration or cloud use

Assist with creating cloud migration strategies, defining delivery architecture, creating the migration plans, designing the orchestration plans, etc. Experience with infrastructure.

Provide support to ensure that the appropriate level of change management is measured and evaluated
Required Skills:
- 5+ years experience with Cloud infrastructure skillset (bonus: ZScaler or CyberSecurity infrastructure)

- Experience developing the plan that will guide the organization in the various stages of using or migrating to cloud services

Experience creating high quality, client facing assets targeting Cloud solutions and present them to key stakeholders.

Experience developing & designing roadmaps, implement strategies & transformation plans for clients to migrate to cloud.

Experience scrutinizing existing client environments & recommend solutions that enable a to-be cloud vision A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines

Experience assisting with sound practices in cloud brokerage and technical application management

Conducting financial and ROI analysis of infrastructure, operations, and management costs

Working with stakeholders to embed an agile, cloud-native process in all cloud acquisitions to enable the agency to quickly and effectively harness the power of cloud computing

Contributing to further building the Cloud Advisory Services practice in terms of people, process and technology improvements
