The Regional Security Operations Center Analyst, assigned to a specific client, will provide in-depth analysis and reporting on global security issues and execute risk mitigation measures to protect the client's assets. The Analyst works closely with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and builds a network of security professionals to utilize during crisis scenarios and project work.
This role will lead security-related projects within an assigned region, assist with the development of SitCenter (Situation Center) processes and standards, and serves as a SME on all security topics.
Essential Functions:
- Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
- Support the client's corporate crisis management team through in-depth analysis of global security risks (including product, property, information and/or personal security), which may impact the assigned region;
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external government agencies and security authorities.
- Create situation reports and execute risk mitigation measurements in emergency and crisis situations.
- Develop and communicate debriefings for international security assessments and risk analysis;
- Utilize holistic, comprehensive, or country-focused concepts and processes with respect to country and company legal requirements as well as economic aspects.
- Support the client's business units and employees in all security-related topics including travel security, event protection, emergency processes.
- Provide regional support by creating synergies with the local security situation center (SitCenter).
- Assist in the development of SitCenter target operations including guidelines, standards, processes, and work instructions.
- Lead security projects, which may include digital transformation, across an assigned region with involvement of the respective country and local security and IT stakeholders;
- Ensure SitCenter processes and standards are embedded, as applicable, within the projects.
- Implement an appropriate balance between local, regional, and corporate interests.
- Assist in the successful implementation of security standards across the region and modify over time, as needed.
- Develop a network of internal and external security experts to utilize during a crisis and/or security-related projects.
- Serve as region SME through consultation and guidance with client business units and leaders regarding all security topics.
- Foster communication across the region regarding all security topics, "lessons learned", and industry best practices.
- All other duties, as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Certifications:
Degree related to security management, politics, business administration, educational science or vocational education within civil security service. One to two years of corporate/industrial security, intelligence, and/or crisis management program experience.
