The ideal candidate should have experience & knowledge in other areas of Cyber Security however the focus of this position is Risk Management services like PCI Attestation & Compliancy, Risk & Control Assessments (TRA’s, NIST, CIS, ISO, etc.) and NERC-CIP requirements and regulatory standards and procedures. Below are more detail areas of expectations, experience and knowledge needed.
Responsibilities
- Deliver industry and technical expertise in information security through client interactions, reports, technical work, management presentations and the creation of high-quality deliverables
- Execute transactions through the provision of client services including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating engagements
- Facilitate collaboration with client engagement team prior to commencement of client work to discuss roles and responsibilities, risk areas, materiality and deadlines
- Identify ways to maximize the relationship with clients and deliver added value
- Maintain high quality control by reviewing work done from other team members for accuracy and completeness; provide feedback to team members
- Monitor project timelines against targets, adjust where necessary; advise clients of project status
- Network and take a leadership role in the professional, business and local community while raising awareness of MNP and looking for new business development opportunities
- Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
- Assist in the development and training of team members
Skills and Experience
- PCI experience would be very beneficial – (if you are/were a QSA or equivalent)
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- CISSP, CISA, CISM and/or other related certifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in security & privacy services
- Minimum 5 years of experience defining and implementing cyber security services & solutions
- Excellent understanding of Cyber Security Services (penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, TRA’s, PCI, etc.) and Solutions (NGFW, IPS, 2-factor authentication, SIEM, networking etc.), including architecting, configuration and installation
- Experience with Creating and Delivering Cyber Security Services (i.e., TRA’s, PCI, Pen Testing, Cyber maturity Assessments, Cyber Security Risk Assessments for Cloud, Incident response/forensics, NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP), etc.)
- Understanding of Security and Privacy regulatory/legislative compliance (OSFI, Interac, PCI, PIPEDA, etc.)
- Understanding of IT security and governance frameworks, such as ISO 27001/2 and COBIT
- Experience with architecting, configuration and delivering technology-based controls
- Bilingualism in French and English would be an added bonus
- Security Clearance is considered an asset and will be required
- Some travel required
