Our internationally renowned client is looking for a, Territory Manager, Western Canada – Cybersecurity, to help accelerate their growth.
Territory Manager, Western Canada, is responsible for growing the market for the Canadian Prairies, British Columbia, Yukon, and the Northwest Territories. The position is reporting to the Vice President Sales .
Responsabilities
- Achieve sales growth, profitability, and account penetration in Western Canada
- Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers
- Create and manage territory and account plans, and regularly review progress of deliverables and revenue
- Provide pipeline and activity updates
- Clear and effective written proposals/quotations (current and prospective customers)
- Coordinate sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics, and technical groups
- Arrange product and service demonstrations for existing/potential customers
- Participate in trade shows and conventions
- Analyse the territory/market’s potential and determine the value to the organization of existing and prospective customers
- Create and manage a customer value plan for existing customers-highlighting profile, share, and value opportunities
- Plan and organize a personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory
- Supply Management with verbal and written reports on customer needs, problems, and interests, as well as competitive activities and potential for new products/services
- Undergraduate degree in business administration/marketing or related field with technical certification, i.e. CISM, CISSP, etc.
- Certifications in sales or marketing, and technical certifications, i.e. CISM, CISSP, etc. highly desirable
Skills And Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong track record in a direct cybersecurity sales environment, with emphasis on cybersecurity services and solution selling
- Proven experience in consultative sales and/or value selling (new accounts, business proposals, RFPs)
- Effective negotiation skills
- Can navigate and converse at all levels of an organization, while cross-selling and/or upselling solutions and services
- Excellent written and presentation skills
- Strong persuasive skills and ability to gain consensus
- Strong decision-making skills
- Strong business acumen
- A valid driver’s license and passport
- Ability to travel regularly (one week/month)
- Must reside either in the Prairies or British Columbia
