Job Title: Technical Sales Manager – Managed Services

Location: Burnaby, BC (MUST BE LOCAL to the GVRD)

Employment Type: Full-time


Job Summary:


Are you a driven sales professional with a knack for building relationships and a curiosity about technology? We’re looking for a Tech Sales Leader to join our growing team and help us expand our presence in the managed services sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your sales expertise while deepening your understanding of IT services and solutions.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Prospect and Qualify Leads: Identify and engage potential clients in need of IT solutions.
  • Build Strong Client Relationships: Cultivate long-term relationships with new and existing clients to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Support Sales Strategies: Collaborate with the sales team to implement strategies that achieve revenue goals.
  • Develop Proposals and Presentations: Assist in creating tailored proposals and delivering compelling presentations to prospective clients.
  • Stay Informed on Market Trends: Monitor industry developments, competitive offerings, and emerging client needs to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate with Internal Teams: Work closely with marketing and technical teams to align solutions with client expectations.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Track sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress using CRM tools.


Qualifications:


  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in sales, preferably within IT services, technology, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and time-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Attributes: Self-motivated, goal-driven, and excited to learn about the IT services industry.


Nice to Have:


  • Knowledge of Managed Services: Familiarity with managed IT services, cloud solutions, or cybersecurity solutions or similar technical sales experience.
  • IT Certifications: Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals can be a plus.
  • Technical Aptitude: A basic understanding of IT infrastructure, software, or hardware solutions ideally in Cisco Related and Microsoft Products is an asset
