Director, IT

Purpose:

Reporting to the CFO, the Director of IT ensures seamless IT operations, drives technology strategy, and fosters innovation to support business growth and security.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Design and implement IT roadmaps covering people, processes, and technology.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and business processes.
  • Oversee IT infrastructure, applications, networks, and security.
  • Ensure robust service delivery, system uptime, and budget adherence.
  • Implement cybersecurity measures and IT policies for risk mitigation.
  • Lead cloud adoption, AI/ML integration, and business intelligence initiatives.
  • Collaborate with department leaders on scalable, cost-effective IT solutions.
  • Supervise IT teams across system architecture, applications, and helpdesk.
  • Oversee IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Manage IT budgets, vendor contracts, and technology investments.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ in leadership roles.
  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field; certifications (ITIL, CISSP, PMP) preferred.
  • Expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively and drive innovation.
