Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and driven Penetration Testing Engineer to conduct comprehensive security assessments for our clients. In this role, you’ll identify vulnerabilities, provide actionable recommendations, and help clients fortify their systems against cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct penetration tests on web applications, APIs, networks, and operating systems.
- Identify vulnerabilities, exploit them where applicable, and assess potential risks.
- Prepare in-depth reports that include risk analyses, proof of concepts, and mitigation steps.
- Collaborate with clients to understand security objectives and provide tailored solutions.
- Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in penetration testing or offensive security.
- Proficient in penetration testing frameworks (OWASP, PTES, NIST).
- Expertise with tools like Burp Suite, Metasploit, Kali Linux, and Nessus.
- Strong scripting abilities (Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, CEH, CISSP) are a significant advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: CAD 80,000 – CAD 100,000 annually (based on experience).
