Viejas Casino and Resort is looking for an on-site mid to senior level Information Security Analyst to help build out our growing security program. This position will be responsible for alerts, investigations, analyzing the environment for threats, consulting with other aspects of the IT team, and ultimately report to the ISM. The candidate should have a strong grasp of cyber security best practices, systems, and be capable of report writing. The candidate may be asked to engineer or assist systems engineers with building out solutions in a holistic manner.

Responsibilities

Security Alerts - Overseeing XDR, SIEM/SOAR, patch management, and other security related tool-sets
Incident Response – Generate reports and correlate findings
Threat Hunting – Utilize existing tools to threat hunt and remove threats from the organization
Security Liaison – Act as the security liaison to other departments and vendors, consulting when and were needed

Qualifications

Required Experience

5 - 7 years of experience working in an information security environment
Security+ or higher (preferred). If the candidate does not have a certificate, they must obtain one within six months of the date of hire

Position Details

Status – Full time

Location – On-site (this is not a remote work position)

Pay – $115k to $130k
