Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Infrastructure Engineer with a strong expertise in AWS services, Kubernetes (k8S), and Linux Administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our customer's software products, ensuring they are highly available, scalable, and secure. As a Senior member of the team, you will also provide technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership to junior engineers.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure on AWS using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, ECS, and EKS.
Automate infrastructure deployment and management using python and shell scripting to call AWS and K8S APIs.
Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters, including deployments, upgrades, and monitoring.
Ensure infrastructure security and compliance with industry best practices, including access management, network security, and data encryption.
Working knowledge of Java and SpringBoot
Tuning and provisioning Java Containers
Work closely with development teams to understand their infrastructure needs and provide guidance on best practices and tools.
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve infrastructure and application deployment and management.
Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
Mentor and lead junior engineers to improve their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
At least 7 years of experience as a Software Infrastructure Engineer, with a strong focus on AWS services, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Linux Administration.
Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, ECS, and EKS.
Strong expertise in Kubernetes deployment, maintenance, and monitoring.
Solid experience with Terraform, including module development and state management.
Strong understanding of Linux Administration, including shell scripting, package management, and system monitoring.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Agile development methodologies.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
AWS, Kubernetes, and Linux certifications are a plus.
