About the team

Our team has been rapidly growing over the past two years as our organization has evolved towards a product-led focus. You will be working among a tight-knit group of software developers, application, integration, data, technical and automation architects.

As a customer-centric organization and team, we understand the importance of measuring client impact and success, before simply measuring product usage. We work closely alongside our clients and users to ensure features, functions, and metrics are truly meaningful to them.

As a DevSecOps Manager your primary responsibility will be to own, build, and empower the security, operational, and development technologies that support our team. This is a hands-on leadership role where your time will be spent working with the team delivering security and operational services that support the organization and our clients.

Responsibilities

Maintain and monitor all security and operational services at TKS

Familiarity with Azure services or AWS/GCP equivalents.

Analyze and identify cyber threat activity based on known techniques, tactics, procedures

Experience with infrastructure as code or willingness to learn

Proficiency in administering web apps and services - Linux (primarily) and Windows

Git and GitHub experience * DNS hosting and management experience alongside CDN usage

Conduct threat modeling, penetration testing, data security, DevSecOps, vulnerability management, and security metrics

Design, build and review security-related services and functionality of web and mobile applications

Provide client product teams with well-researched security advice to demonstrate vulnerabilities, collaborate with all teams to provide secure development guidance

Manage and refine the security posture of TKS

Maintaining security standards and SOC2 compliance

Manage the TKS vulnerability management program and refine CI/CD security practices

Network and Operational fundamentals an asset

Incident response life cycle and techniques

Management of SaaS services and infrastructure at TKS

Be a TKS ambassador within the consulting and business community

Qualifications

Coaching and influencing skills

Technical leadership and mentoring experience

Experience with all phases of product development lifecycle, including requirement definition, development, test, and product release

Excellent debugging and optimization skills working in a multi-threaded environment

Experience assessing, troubleshooting and mitigating issues in live environments

Knowledge of high traffic services and highly scalable systems
