About The Role

In this role at RYTE, you'll be primarily responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and upkeep of our client's IT systems for on demand services and support, and the information governance program including the enterprise content management system.

Your duties include ensuring the security and compliance of IT Systems, adhering to regulations like HIPAA and SOC2, and maintaining the highest standards of information/data integrity and quality.

As the main administrator for office IT systems, you'll handle system setup, provide ongoing support and training, and manage the development of information policies and procedures to guarantee the accuracy, quality, security, and accessibility of information.

Job Responsibilities

IT Support for North America

To lead the On Demand Service Desk for IT Support services.
Assist in troubleshooting IT performance related issues.
Escalate issues or concerns with the appropriate stakeholders.
Develop and support communication plan and related communication channels.
Arrange for required functional and performance testing with the Business Departments and with the Compliance Unit for oversight.

System Development And Improvement

Lead the IT development and governance of SharePoint for enterprise records management.
Analyze and translate business requirements into functional solutions.
Implement records management in SharePoint for regulatory compliance and business efficacy.
Recommend improvements and define success metrics.

System Management And Compliance

Establish a secure enterprise-wide information content system, collaborating with Compliance, Senior Management, and stakeholders for document creation, maintenance, and storage.
Work with Compliance on IT policies and guidelines, ensuring industry standards, best practices, legal compliance, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Maintain the automated Compliance frameworks for IT Security and ensuring issues/gaps are accounted for and/or tracked to completion.

Documentation And Record Keeping

Create the workflows to establish and maintain a repository for all electronic documents.
Build workflows to ensure maintenance of standardized electronic files and archiving, handle expired documents per documentation control standards and retention rules, ensuring security access controls are in place.
Build workflows for electronic logs and forms (e.g., Change Control, Deficiency, Security Incident).

Training And Risk Management

Build the training database used to manage training records and related materials.
Integrate best practices for information/data management and protection, including risk assessments.

Collaboration And Stakeholder Engagement

Work with internal/external stakeholders/vendors to optimize RYTE’s IT systems and their operations across the enterprise.
Offer expertise to support all aspects of managing enterprise IT systems.
Handle tasks related to IT compliance, privacy/security, regulations, best practices initiatives, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of related experience, expertise in SharePoint and Microsoft Office 365, knowledge of IT best practices (like ITIL, COBIT), skills in performance and access testing using automated scripts, and a strong focus on data security and risk assessment. These skills will allow them to support RYTE’s global operations and compliance initiatives.

Specific Requirements

Experience:
Minimum 3 years of working knowledge and understanding of IT and compliance best practices.
Working knowledge of IT best practices frameworks like ITIL, COBIT, and/or NIST, or others
Able to articulate issues to all levels and address as per urgency.
Experience in a regulated industry like Healthcare, Financial, Legal, or Life Sciences; or with Quality Systems (e.g., ISO) is nice to have
Technical skills:
Understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, and mobile devices
Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Experience with helpdesk or ticketing software
Knowledge of basic cybersecurity principles
Understanding of database management systems (e.g., SQL)
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Knowledge of Office 365 services like Exchange Online, SharePoint, etc.
Azure services knowledge, including Azure AD, MDM (Mobile Device Management)
Knowledge of communication protocols (HTTP, FTP)
Proficiency in remote support tools
Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and service logs
