Overview

Solace is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst who will work directly with the Chief Information Security Officer to improve our cybersecurity posture.

In This Role, You Will

Be directly involved with the IT cybersecurity operations, as well as help deliver on the design, deployment, and operations of additional security solutions and methodologies.
Have a solid grasp of the technical fundamentals in IT, have experience in cybersecurity, and are an excellent problem solver, we want to hear from you!

Keeps up to date with current tech trends, especially related to cybersecurity
Team player with strong interpersonal skills
Effective communicator who can clearly explain complex technical ideas and solutions to those less technical

What You’ll Bring to the Role

Threat and risk assessments
Vulnerability assessments and remediation
Incident response (investigation, remediation, corrective actions, reporting)
Updates and patch management
Monitoring for security events and alerts
Security tools (SIEM, IDS, IPS, logging)
Endpoint protection / EDR
Spam / malware / phishing
Perform security audits
Supplier security assessments

Other Skills/Experience

Knowledge of Linux and Windows internals
Solid understanding of network fundamentals
Understanding and experience with virtualization
Understanding of security principles and practices
Scripting experience is an asset
Cloud experience is an asset
Knowledge of ISO 27001 or NIST 800-53 controls
