SiteZeus is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for a short-term contract to help meet our client needs! Our ideal candidate is a Back End Developer with proven work experience in implementing authentication, preferably using Azure AD B2C.

Our customers use SiteZeus to make better decisions about where to build their next physical locations, and how to optimize their investment in existing locations. This is a short-term (2-3 month) contract position.

Expected Compensation Range: $40 - $60 per hour.

Responsibilities And Duties

Serve under the guidance of the Application Development lead to solve problems and develop best practices.
Will be responsible for designing and implementing security best practices involving public APIs.
Will work with the development team to come up with a plan to take existing private APIs public and then implement that plan.

Qualifications And Skills

At least 1 year of Azure AD B2C, IdentityServer, Auth0, Okta or other comparable experience.
Experience leading the implementation of authentication for a company.
Familiar with B2C policy.
4+ years of relevant database or backend experience.
3+ years of relevant C# web application experience.
Experience writing APIs in C# preferred. Experience with public APIs a nice to have.
Exposure to Azure, Azure DevOps, or managing Azure databases via automation preferred.
Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL. Postgres exposure preferred.
Able to work collaboratively as part of an Agile Scrum Product Team.
