We are currently seeking a Compliance Manager for Swarm Media and its subsidiary companies. Working with a team of professionals, the Compliance Manager will provide functional leadership which includes reporting on performance indicators, overseeing and refining processes and procedures and ensuring the business affairs department runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

· Keep apprised of the following funding guidelines – Canada Media Fund (CMF), Telefilm Canada, and federal and provincial tax credits

· Collect required information and documentation for various funds and tax credit programs

· Review of funding support documentation to ensure eligibility

· Prepare and submit funding applications and interim financing deliverables

· Prepare and submit federal and provincial tax credit applications, including complying and/or creating any required documentation and forms, as required

· Other duties as assigned

About you:

Must have at least one year of experience in a film or television legal and business affairs department or entertainment law firm
Extensive knowledge of the Canadian entertainment industry
Ability to multitask on several productions at once
Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
A demonstrated commitment to privacy and ethical conduct
Excellent written and oral communication skills
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
