Your mission, should you decide to accept it.

As a Security Manager, you will be tasked with the crucial responsibility of ensuring that we live up to the highest level of security standards. Alongside the DevOps team, you will help integrate gating at every step of the DevOps cycle. You will be the owner of all things security and given the responsibility to evangelize the DevSecOps mindset across the company. Under the leadership of the DevOps Manager, you will define the security roadmap and handle its implementation.

What we are looking for:

5 years + DevOps experience
Agile development is no secret for you
Security is your guiding light
Knowledge of DevOps tools (ex. Buildkite, Gitlab, Kubernetes, Docker or others)
Understanding of Information Systems security principles
You are a backward compatibility evangelist
Time & task management are very important to you

Responsibilities

Responsible to evangelize and articulate security messaging to the rest of the company operations
Build an incredible security practices knowledge base and training plan for the entire development team
Manage the overall security of the application and infrastructure
Identifying potential security vulnerabilities
Working with a Lead architect to develop a solution to minimize attack surface
Working with Developers to Improve security practice for both the Application and infrastructure
Working with Success and Marketing for managing and articulating ScalePad Products security practices
Working under DevOps Manager supervision to improve infrastructure overall security
Responsible for supporting and documenting Info Security Compliance project (SOC-2)
Assess policies and Implement SOC-2 design controls, including coding and infrastructure initiatives such as secure storage, secure coding practices, etc
Responsible for distributed support of SOC-2 coding practices for Sprint Teams

Experience is an asset, but what follows is just as important. You are a good fit if:

Prior experience with threat modeling, performing DAST/SAST/SCA scans or pen-tests, configuring appsec tools, and integrating tools into a development pipeline
High level of proficiency with AWS and Azure
Strong understanding of Agile/DevOps methods.
Understand basic software development concepts and tooling.
Familiar with basic risk management concepts
Can read/write code in at least one programming/scripting language and is open to learning more.
Understanding application security vulnerabilities
Experience in cloud security
Experience with security compliance standards, such as PCI DSS, NIST or ISO.
Defensive security (SIEM / IPS / IDS) and offensive security (intrusion test, vulnerability test and security audit)
Forensic, Red Teaming, and Incident Response
Governance, risk management, and information security compliance
Information security architecture
Implementation of information security management systems.
Audit and information security assessment (SOC2 or other)
Application and operational security
