Job Summary

***** This role is Hybrid, in office about 3 days per week****

We are seeking a Security Analyst who has a foundation in computer hardware and software, web browsers, basic networking, and people skills. This position takes part in the design and implementation of security protocols, applications, and processes designed to secure the company, data, and applications utilized. Installing and maintaining security software and/or systems, including, but not limited to, Network Access Control, segmentation, firewalls, 2-factor authentication, remote access, spam, and web filters. Monitors for security-related events and ensures data is protected from unauthorized users. Produces security reports for management, security committee, and board. Assists technology services with device hardening, vulnerability remediation, and security violations. Regular testing including review of processes.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field

Experience

3-5+ years of information security experience
Experience with the translation of penetration testing and security assessments preferred
Understanding of firewalls, network switches, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts
Knowledge of operating system internals, OS security mitigations & understanding of Security challenges in Windows, Linux, Mac, Android & iOS platforms
Knowledge of kill-chain model, ATT&CK framework, and modern penetration testing techniques
2 years working with Microsoft security tools including Defender, Endpoint security, Multi-Factor Authentication, Intune, Threat Protection, Kusto
Good verbal & written communication skills
Able to work with very little supervision in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of ISO 21001

Preferred Qualifications

Experience: 3+ Years General helpdesk support

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Microsoft Security Certification
Computer Hardware, Windows 10 OS, and other software support.
Azure AD and broader Azure applications
PowerShell scripting, Power Platform applications (Power Apps, Power Automate, PowerBI)
