As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will perform data gathering, analysis, synthesis and develop solutions to support Rimidi Cybersecurity practices. Protecting what matters most to our clients by securing our sensitive data and critical assets from current and emerging threats. Rimidi Cybersecurity consists of Architecture, Governance, Identity & Access Management, Internal Threat Operations, Issue and Compliance Management, Risk Assessment/Advisory, Security Consulting, Security Operations and tactical execution of reporting, creating documentation and processes.

Cybersecurity Analyst Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the review of O365 and Azure Secure Scores; remediate vulnerabilities as necessary

• Responsible for Vulnerability Management

• Provide metrics on assigned security systems

• Assist in the creation and maintenance of Information Security policies

• Conduct third-party risk assessments

• Ask team members targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem.

• Navigate team members through actions, either via phone, email or chat, until they have solved a security issue.

• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g. software developers).

• Provide prompt and accurate feedback to internal customers.

• Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate security solutions.

• Ensure all security issues are properly logged.

• Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time.

• Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals.

Role requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent work experience and/or education

• 3-5 years Hands-on experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role

• CompTIA Security+ or comparable Information Security certification(s)

• High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments

• Demonstrated Experience with establishing SOC II or Hi-Trust in an organization/business

• Analytical Skills – Has Tier 1 and Tier 2 SOC experience to respond to events, conduct verification and data enrichment activities, and identify potential linkages to other events. Ability to examine netflow traffic, packet analysis and basic cyber intelligence skills for investigations are desirable skills.

• Communication Skills – Has effective written communications skills to compose technical advisories in a timely manner for different audiences and purposes. Can conduct concise verbal briefings on analytical findings. Can work effectively with the intelligence analysts for escalations, incidents, and collaborative work.

• Critical Thinking Skills – Is able to approach information and data in an objective and rational manner, understand bias and possible relationships of importance, and apply methods of examination to construct a clear and informed judgement.

• Organizational Skills – Possesses strong time management skills to work multiple processes at the same time and to a high degree of quality. Should be able to prioritize the required work and self-discipline on when to continue to a different task.

• Familiarity with Intelligence Cycle – be able to work with the intelligence analysts to escalate events or incidents that match against FS-ISAC Priority Intelligence Requirements, identify where investigative findings can lead to proactive hunting or monitoring and deeper analysis, and work in harmony with the intelligence analysis function.
