The Information Technology (IT) team plays a key role in providing business enablement throughout ResMed. The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for assisting with administrative duties of the team. Providing Information Security support for ResMed business units and 3rd parties, including responding to customer security inquiries, and 3rd party risk auditing to ensure they meet ResMed needs. Lead the administrative effort for the global information security vulnerability management program, in coordination with others to reduce security threats within the organization.

Let's talk about the role:

Security Operations Escalation Point – Security Operations can reach out to the Information Security Analyst for guidance and escalation regarding risk assessment, and 3rd party risk assessments. Educate Security Operations team members on 3rd party risk best practices.
Liaison with ResMed sales teams to assist in providing customers security assurance of ResMed products. Work with customers directly to resolve security concerns with our products, processes, or systems.
Assess the confidentiality, integrity and availability of applications and systems, including those of third parties providing services to ResMed.
Collect security vulnerabilities identified by security tools and product vendors based on documented industry best practices. Manage the risk for these findings using a standard process using standard tools and processes.
Perform security assessments and system security audits. Work with the teams on the findings to improve security and accountability.
Follow established processes to communicate security vulnerability information provided by security tools and product vendors to stakeholders, product owners, and system administrators.
Prepare reports with updates provided from persons/groups performing remediation to stakeholders and leadership using structured methods. Manage security controls and enhancements required for new/existing:
- ResMed developed products
- Corporate applications and systems
- 3rd party vendors
- Internal projects
Confirm that Technical Measures are in place are adequate for issues identified by the Privacy Team. Meet with the Privacy Team to coordinate on assets that need attention and to update risk categorization to (often changing) requirements.
Security risk assessments for 1st party assets that ResMed has built via a ‘post build; pre-release’ window, and identify risks. This includes ResMed assets, and 3rd party vendors creating 1st party assets. The Information Security Analyst is to define specific requirements (allowing for flexibility) to identify gaps without current oversight in existing processes.

Let's talk about you:

Industry experience in security operations or working on standards in the security space is preferred.
Experience with Vendor Management monitoring tools.
Knowledge of ISO or HIPAA security standards is preferred.
Bonus if fluent in French or German (not required).
