Job Responsibilities:

Member of the Rakuten Symphony Security team which is responsible for design, development and testing of features that introduce new security measures and fix security vulnerabilities in Rakuten Symphony products.
Working closely with the Product Security Lead in performing threat modeling and risk analysis of product features.
Responsible for meeting all intermediate project security milestones and for final sign off on all security issues prior to GA.
Contribute to reviews of security architecture, platform/service designs, and audit of source code.
Working closely with the security test team in performing security vulnerability assessment and addressing any findings.
Contributing to compliancy reporting and security audits.

Job Requirement:

Strong understanding of mobile networks technology and architecture.
Hands on experience with design, development and testing of 3GPP security features on gNB.
Good understanding of product security standards including system/software/application security.
Familiarity with 4G and 5G 3GPP specifications for gNB security (such as TS 33.501, TS 33.310, TS 33.401 etc.).
Knowledge of current communications industry, cyber security, IP networks, system engineering, quality/security standards and frameworks.
Knowledge of TCP/IP services/protocols, networking, emerging technology trends and system integration.
Good understanding on Cloud Security, NIST Security Framework.
Knowledge of L4-L7 protocols such as TLS, IPSec, HTTP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP.
Strong C/C++ programming.
Automation and Scripting Knowledge (E.g. Python).
Hands on development experience in Linux environment.
High degree of proficiency in programming methodologies, design patterns, algorithms and data structures.
Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
Exposure to cloud native security best practices in private and public clouds.
Ability to analyze product or solution security status from testing results, reports, architecture and audit results.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Education and Experience:

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or Software Technology or equivalent education.
