General Description:
Reporting to the Director of Employee Resources and the Director of Finance this position is responsible for providing information technology (IT) leadership and support of substantial scope and complexity, including managing our internal computer programs, device set-up and maintenance, solving a variety of tech related issues and concerns, and spearheading technology initiatives and projects within the Agency.

Experience, Education, and Requirements:

Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Career and Technology studies,

Computer Science (Management) or related discipline

Advanced Experience with Apple & PC Computers
3-year’s experience in related Information Technology position
Must have valid driver’s license, insurance, and a vehicle to use for work

Essential Skills and Abilities:

Advanced knowledge in a variety of software programs, including Microsoft 365
Project Management o Ability to lead a project from initial planning to implementation and maintenance o Collaboration with team members
Leadership o Direct oversight of IT Administrator o Communicate IT information effectively to employees, including emails, memos, and presentations as needed
Excellent verbal and written communication
Prioritization and time management abilities
Self-motivated and initiates follow-up as required

Job Duties

Manage company software and programs in collaboration with the IT Administrator
Triage company IT work orders to ensure they are completed in a systematic, and timely manner
Directly oversee the IT Administrator
Manage company IT security
Research and implement technology efficiencies within the Quest Community, which includes: o Presenting solutions to the team o Building and adjusting programs or software as needed o Developing training materials for employees o Providing hands on training 1:1 and in group settings
Installation and set-up of new computers as needed (on and off-site locations)
Maintain and backup our current and future databases and files
Provide regular maintenance of Agency computers (Apple & PC) and related devices
Maintain sensitive and confidential information in a discreet and professional manner
Produce written communication to employees for the newsletter, website and memos

Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:00 – 16:30; flex time and on-call availability is required
Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 per annum based on education, experience, and demonstrated skills
