Quantropi is scaling up its Engineering team and is seeking an experienced Cloud Deployment Engineer to join us on this revolutionary and pioneering journey.

Role Summary:

As a Cloud Deployment Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and applications for our organization and customers. You will work with the Product Engineering team to identify and implement the best cloud solutions to meet the business needs of our organization. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our cloud infrastructure is secure, reliable, and scalable.

Responsibilities:

Work directly with Quantropi Product Engineering, QA, Security and Operations to develop cloud-specific implementations of our QiSpace platform to meet product functional and technical requirements
Design, develop, and test cloud infrastructure and configuration to ensure high availability and optimal performance
Develop automation patterns for provisioning, management, scalability and security
Definition and development of Platform QoS and uptime/availability monitoring
Definition, development, and testing for system resiliency and disaster recovery
Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-deployment issues encountered by Quantropi operations or customers
Develop and maintain cloud-related documentation for internal use by Quantropi and for use by Quantropi customers on their cloud deployments.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to cloud infrastructure and applications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Electrical/Software engineering or equivalent
3 - 5+ year’s experience in designing, deploying, and testing cloud-based infrastructure and applications.
Experience deploying Docker containerized application to GCP. Strong plus for additional experience with AWS and / or Azure.
Experience with implementing Kubernetes orchestration of Docker containers
Experience with cloud automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
Proficiency in cloud automation using AWS CLI, Azure CLI, CDK, CloudFormation, ARM or terraform.
Hands-on experience with system configuration and DevOps tools preferably Ansible, Bitbucket, Git, Jira and Confluence
Hands-on experience with Nginx configuration, AWS/GCP/Azure load balancer, Cloud Router Service
Experience with performance engineering, system monitoring, and high availability design and implementation
Experience with Cloud-based Key Management Systems (AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault, etc) a plus
Knowledge of Cloud Native core design principles is desirable
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Salary: $95,150.00-$139,234.50 per year
