Position Senior Software Engineer- Backend

QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Engineering Technology or a related field, or a foreign equivalency; plus
Minimum 4 years of experience in design and development of front-end web-based applications using JavaScript libraries and frameworks, HTML, CSS, REST, React, Redux and Agile methodologies.
Minimum 2 years of experience in developing in an environment using continuous integration and deployment; and
Minimum 1 year of experience in developing and supporting solutions deployed to cloud computing services.

Alternative requirements:

A Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Engineering Technology or a related field, or a foreign equivalency; plus
Minimum 2 years of experience in design and development of front-end web-based applications using JavaScript libraries and frameworks, HTML, CSS, REST, React, Redux and Agile methodologies.
Minimum 2 years of experience in developing in an environment using continuous integration and deployment; and
Minimum 1 year of experience in developing and supporting solutions deployed to cloud computing services.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Innovate, conceive, design, and develop modern and comprehensive software solutions.
Collaborate with product management, architects, and other engineers to drive successful project outcomes, primarily using Java, REST, and database technologies.
Diagnose and develop workable solutions to problems our clients and customers report; and
Support and develop junior software engineers by coaching and providing educational opportunities.
Telecommuting allowed anywhere in the US.
