Job Summary

This position is responsible for being a primary point of contact between the IT Security department and the IT Infrastructure and Operations department. This role will engage with stakeholders to ensure security compliance and controls are followed and will i nterface with the cyber security team on a regular basis.

Job Responsibilities

Act as the voice of PPL’s Enterprise Security and Cyber Security de partments in the Infrastructure and Operations organization, collaborating with cross -f unctional teams to ensure security controls and related metrics are implemented within the infrastructure organization.
Assist cyber team with any investigative activities within the infrastructure area.
Participates in development of satisfactory backup and restore practices as well as disaster recovery planning and testing.
Supports NERC-CIP and TSA compliance and ensures that electronic and physical security policies are followed.
Effectively communicates with clients, peers, and management by blending appropriate levels of technical and business detail to ensure issues are thoroughly understood by his/her audience.
May be assigned an Electric Utilities emergency and storm role. This is a special assignment that comes into play during storms and other emergencies when the company needs to restore power or respond to other issues affecting customer service. This role may necessitate the need to work after-hours, outside of your normal schedule.
All positions in which driving is an essential function of the job, regardless if the job code is marked safety sensitive or not, will also be included as safety sensitive.
The company reserves the right to determine if this position will be assigned to work on-site, remotely, or a combination of both. Assigned work location may change. In the case of remote work, physical presence in the office/on-site may be required to engage in face-to-face interaction and coordination of work among direct reports and co-workers.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology or an alternate combination of education and experience with results in the equivalent job knowledge and skills.
Three or more years of related experience in information technology analysis and support.
Strong knowledge of cyber security practices and principles.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working as a security analyst.
