Vice President of Sales

Location: Atlanta, GA, USA (hybrid, 3 days in office)

Compensation: $200k-$230k basic

They’re a well established business looking for their next leader to spearhead growth in the US.

The Role:

As the Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for co-developing Sales strategy, in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team, and executing that strategy to achieve revenue targets and increase market share. You will lead and inspire a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. This role requires a strategic thinker who can then convert strategy to tactics, and design and execute an operational plan which delivers Sales budget.

Key Accountabilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives. Identify new market opportunities, set sales targets, and create plans to achieve revenue growth.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team, setting clear goals and performance targets. Provide ongoing coaching and professional development to enhance team members' sales skills and capabilities.
Monitor and analyze sales metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team and individual performance. Implement strategies to optimize sales efficiency and effectiveness.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment of sales and marketing efforts.
Continuously improve the sales process to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Implement best practices and leverage technology to streamline sales operations.
Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for the executive team, providing insights into performance, market trends, and opportunities.

Experience Required:

Previous progressive sales experience, with experience in a senior sales leadership role managing managers
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, with experience of the technology and software industry being highly desirable.
Understanding of the necessary components of business transformation and sales management.
