As a critical member of Pacific Energy’s IT team, you will utilize your problem solving and communication skills to provide company-wide technical support for end-user computer systems and peripherals. This position requires an individual looking for a challenging role within an organization that strives to provide world class service.

Responsibilities

Maintain Sales & Operations forecasting systems.
Provide Help Desk support and triage self-service tickets while meeting established SLAs.
Provide in-person support to local and remote clients as required.
Installation, diagnostics, repair and maintenance of all desktop, laptop, and thin client computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
Work with System and Network Engineers to build and maintain desktop images.
Ensure desktops are protected from other unwanted software: viruses, malware, spyware, adware, etc.
General knowledge of Smartphone and Tablet OS (Android and Apple).
Support of networked and stand-alone printers and peripherals.
Comply with and enforce IT security policies.
Maintain accurate inventories of all computer systems, peripherals, and software licensing.
Recommend or perform remedial actions to correct problems.

The Ideal Candidate will have

Two (2) to Three (3) years of experience and/or training in an Information Systems role.
A+ certification is favorable.
Associates or technical degree in a relevant field of computer science or in pursuit thereof.

Skills and Abilities

In depth understanding of Windows operating systems: Windows 10 and higher.
Ability to provide advanced support for computers and associated peripherals to local and remote users.
Firm understanding of Active Directory, user account / mailbox administration, and group policy.
Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP.
Experience with desktop imaging and other advanced system tools.
Extensive knowledge of MS Office suite.
Continuing education through conferences and seminars.
Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
