Summary of Responsibilities:

Configures, implements, supports and maintains applications and technical integrations to meet the needs of the organization. Serves as a coordinator and has meaningful relationships with business operations, information technology, leadership, system users and vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Provides a variety of services and support for the analysis of mid-complexity support issues and maintenance of the client’s Epic system

• Subject matter specialist in assigned applications and works to develop a breadth of knowledge across applications

• Research and resolution or escalation of low to mid complexity issues and requests in a positive manner in accordance with established service level agreements

• Acting as the liaison between customer and other support staff or third-party vendors to resolve issues

• Understanding and adhering to service provider/customer chain of accountability that ultimately leads to the patient

• This position must be highly responsive to customers and show an aptitude for the translation of customer requirements into feasible options within the application

• Successfully participates in initiatives and projects with other staff

• Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of prior experience working as an Epic Security Analyst

• Required: EPIC Security Certification

• Preferred: AS or BS in Health Information Management or similar field

• Highly organized and exceptional attention to detail

• Ability to switch from task to task without losing focus

• Ability to work under pressure of deadlines

• Ability to work independently, with limited supervision

• Ability to interact with others pleasantly and efficiently

• Ability to document in a timely and accurate manner

• Ability to train and provide mentoring to staff

• Ability to prioritize and distribute work in a stressful environment

Working Conditions:

Remote office environment. Occasional travel may be required.

Reports to Director of Epic Applications – Managed Services or Director of Operations – Managed
