What You Will Do

The Personnel Security Analyst is part of the Executive Office for United States Trustee (EOUST), division of Department of Justice (DOJ) and will be responsible for conducting security trainings and evaluate staff processes and procedures for security risks. Maintain and update security files, monitor networks. Performs other tasks related to security as directed by the Government Technical Point of Contact (POC) or other federal staff within the Facility and Security Branch.

Essential Responsibilities

Gathering and processing documents for all staff, new hires, Chapter Trustees, and volunteers.
Facilitating the PIV card request process, as required by EOUST.
Scheduling and coordination in support of security requirements.
Development of occupant emergency plans, annual testing and certifications, and compliance reviews.
Emergency preparedness drills and safety needs of EOUST
Activities which ensure that EOUST is in compliance with required laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to information security.
Compliance reviews and audits
Liaise activities with Department information security officials
Routine personnel and physical security support functions.
Provide document/information security support.
Monitor and install systems to protect sensitive information. Conduct penetration testing, Research latest technologies and security trends. Train, plan and implement agency best practices, products and procedures.

What Matters To Us

Federal Government Experience
Experience with Joint Surveillance and Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS) and/or e-QIP is a plus.
Adjudication experience
Associates degree and two years of performing routine personal and physical security duties. Experience may be substituted for education. (II)
Bachelor's degree and five years of performing routine personal and physical security duties. Experience may be substituted for education. (III)
Must be highly organized and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to obtain a security clearance.

This position will have multiple duty locations in the Washington, DC metropolitan commuting area. The employee will be expected to report to various work locations as directed without additional compensation for travel.
