About the role:

We are seeking a skilled Sr. Software Engineer with experience in DevOps, infrastructure, and networking. You will be responsible for making critical infrastructure decisions related to our web application, customer deployment model, and network security. This role requires an understanding of network architecture, cloud providers, Linux system administration, and security best practices. Experience working with sensitive data is a must.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary technical expert on network architecture, security, and infrastructure
Manage AWS, GCP, and other cloud platforms, to deliver highly available web applications to clients across the US.
Work with customers to configure Site-to-site VPN tunnels to support integration with on premises client systems.
Manage Oncora’s technical systems and DevOps tooling, including cloud-hosted (Kubernetes) and on-premises customer environments, OpenVPN, CI/CD, etc.

Qualifications:

BS in an engineering or technical field (or similar experience)
4+ years of work experience as a software engineer, infrastructure engineer, or similar role at a technology company
Deep experience in AWS, including networking and security engineering
Experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, OpenVPN, and similar platforms
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have:

Experience with healthcare interoperability standards (e.g. HL7, FHIR, etc.)
Experience with healthcare-related software systems (e.g. EHRs, OISs, etc.)
Proficiency with or interest in other software engineering domains, especially application or data engineering with python or typescript
Proficiency with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or other database technologies
Experience with non-AWS cloud providers and managing multi-cloud environments

Compensation:
