About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to spearhead the design, development and improvement of our “Connect Platform”. As a technical lead you will play a vital leadership role in automating data and document ingestion across diverse construction-related systems.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is not afraid to wear multiple hats and roll their sleeves up to develop systems from scratch to ensure excellence in SaaS software delivery whether this is about a development, security or operations problem.

Responsibilities:

In this important leadership role, you will have the following responsibilities:

- Providing technical leadership and direction to a 3-5 person team

- Collaborating closely with other software engineers, actively participating in brainstorming and planning sessions and contributing to daily code development and reviews.

- Leveraging your expertise to build robust RPA, API and DB pipelines.

- Providing troubleshooting and support for existing pipeline runs in customer accounts, ensuring

seamless operation and customer satisfaction.

- Expanding and enhancing existing microservices, aligning them with the overarching product vision.

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in AWS services including Lambda and Step Functions (MUST).

- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience (MUST).

- Proficiency in Python, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of industry best practices and coding standards (MUST).

- A minimum of 5 years of professional Software Engineering experience (MUST).

- Expertise in web technologies, including Browsers, HTML, HTTP, REST, and APIs.

- Proficiency in browser automation tools like Playwright, Selenium, or Puppeteer, enabling seamless data handling.

- Outstanding communication and leadership skills, empowering you to mentor and collaborate

effectively with team members.

Great to have:

- Proficient in advanced web scraping techniques, particularly circumventing bot detection mechanisms like CAPTCHA, user behavior analysis, JavaScript challenges, etc

- Prior experience working with Microservices Architectures

- AWS services: S3 and SAM.
