Our client is looking for an experienced Vice President of Sales with an exceptional track record of building and scaling go-to-market teams. The VP of Sales will work as a key partner to the CEO, together with the leadership team in executing go-to-market and growth strategies.

The ideal candidate has experience scaling go-to-market functions (sales, customer success, SaaS deployments, renewals) of a high-growth SaaS business using a product-led growth strategy to sell highly technical products.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational direction to the organization’s revenue-driving functions to meet/exceed agreed upon sales and revenue targets
Develop and implement company specific sales methodologies, territory and team structure, quota and commission plans, opportunity management, forecasting, pricing strategies, and pipeline management and reporting
Define and execute a strategy that ensures predictable, repeatable and scalable sales results
Build a world class sales team with deep experience engaging and closing enterprise SaaS engagements
Establish and improve monthly forecasting and quarterly business reviews to ensure transparency and accuracy in meeting forecasted growth goals
Work with leadership team to optimize the selling process, including implementing appropriate sales ops and enablement systems/processes
Ongoing collaboration with Marketing on lead generation programs and strategies, managing all sales development activities for the company

Experience and Skills

+10 years of experience in SaaS sales;
Experience with a subscription-based, recurring revenue SaaS business model
Expertise and knowledge of the cybersecurity sector is strongly preferred; experience selling technical products is required
Proven experience building and scaling go-to-market teams to execute a product-led growth strategy in a complex buying environment (direct, partners, self-service, open source, etc.)
Demonstrated track record building a strong go-to-market engine and improving sales and customer success operations, resulting in repeatable success
Experience structuring and leading operationally sound revenue-focused organizations with a history of quota overachievement
Strategic sales leadership experience; ability to drive vision and strategy forward in tandem with CEO
Track record of improving key sales metrics to achieve on overall revenue targets (overall bookings, ratio of bookings to sales cost, etc.)
Proven leader and motivator. Entrepreneurial, unafraid to roll-up sleeves, get it done and "lead from the front”
An extremely smart and dynamic individual with outstanding communication skills and a balanced ego
Unquestionable integrity
