Description: Mesquite Independent School District is seeking qualified candidates for the teaching position of STEM Cybersecurity.

Qualifications: This teaching position requires a Bachelor’s Degree with a valid teaching Certificate in Technology Education or Technology Applications.

Preference Will Be Given To Applicants Who

Have demonstrated successful teaching
Have the ability to meet deadlines and schedules in an organized fashion
Have advanced computer skills, communication skills, and public relations skills
Provides content-related and appropriate instruction based on state curriculum through a combination of classroom, laboratory, and co-curricular activities.
Maintains expertise in subject area and attends professional development
Manages and maintains a clean, effective, and professional learning environment and equipment

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the administration may find appropriate and acceptable.

Salary: Teacher Salary Schedule: 187-day contract

Employment begins: July 24, 2023
